About this part

Cast in high-carbon grey iron for better heat dissipation and quieter braking than standard G3000 castings. The hat, cooling vanes and outer edge carry a zinc-flake coating, so the disc stays presentable behind alloy wheels and there is no transit oil to clean off before fitting.

Each disc is balanced and machined to a run-out tolerance well inside OE limits to help prevent judder.

  • Replace discs in axle pairs, and always fit new pads at the same time.
  • Bed in with a series of moderate stops from around 40 mph before heavy braking.
  • Torque caliper carrier bolts and wheel nuts to the manufacturer’s figures.
