Who we are
The Road Sailors sells car and motorbike parts from Birmingham, United Kingdom. For privacy questions, email sales@theroadsailors.com.
What we collect
- Orders: name, business name, billing and delivery address, email, phone number and what you ordered.
- Accounts: your login details and order history.
- Enquiries and trade applications: what you send through our forms.
Why we use it
To fulfil orders and deliver them (contract), to keep accounting records (legal obligation), to assess trade credit applications (legitimate interest) and to reply to your messages. We do not sell your data or use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Our delivery couriers (name, address, phone), our website host and our accountants. Credit reference agencies only if you apply for credit terms.
How long we keep it
Order and invoice records for six years to meet HMRC requirements. Enquiries for up to two years. You can ask us to delete your account at any time.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
