Parts people, not a call centre
The Road Sailors is a car and motorbike parts wholesaler based in Birmingham, supplying garages, bike workshops and home mechanics across the UK.
We started The Road Sailors because buying parts shouldn’t be the hard part of fixing a vehicle. Independent garages and bike workshops need the right part, at a fair trade price, on the bench the next morning — and they need someone on the phone who knows the difference between a 520 and a 525 chain.
What we do
We hold stock of the service, braking, ignition, suspension and electrical parts that move fastest through UK workshops, along with oils, fluids and the consumables every bay gets through. Our own-label ranges sit alongside each other so you can choose on budget:
- RS Pro — our premium range, matched to OE specification, with longer warranties.
- RS Trade — dependable, OE-dimension parts for budget and fleet work.
How we work
- One warehouse, one cut-off. Everything ships from Birmingham, so what the website says is in stock is on our shelves. Order by 4pm and it goes out that day.
- A real parts desk. The people who answer the phone check fitment for a living. If a listing is unclear, we fix the listing.
- Honest pricing. Prices are shown ex VAT with the VAT figure alongside, and volume tiers apply automatically — no codes to chase.
Why the name?
We named the business after the people it serves: couriers, fleet drivers, touring riders and everyone else who spends their working life on the road — and the mechanics who keep them moving.
